We watched deal after deal fall apart, not because the numbers didn't work, but because the lender was slow, unresponsive, or simply didn't understand the Ohio market. Out-of-state money with no local context kept getting in the way of good deals.

We're not a volume lender. We'd rather fund five solid deals than ten questionable ones. When we say yes, we mean it, and we'll get to the closing table.
